While the pots boil over in Tamil Nadu with cries of "Pongalo Pongal," the rest of India is also lighting fires, flying kites, and sharing sweets. In this special "cross-country" episode, we explore the vibrant tapestry of India’s harvest festivals right here on campus.

From the bonfires of the North to the kite-filled skies of the West, we sit down with students from various states to discover how they celebrate their roots while pursuing their technical dreams.

In this episode, we explore:

  • A Map of Traditions: A journey through the regional variations—Lohri (Punjab), Uttarayan (Gujarat), Magh Bihu (Assam), Khichdi (UP/Bihar), and Poush Sankranti (Bengal).
  • The Common Thread: Why every Indian harvest festival revolves around gratitude, the Sun's transition (Makar Sankranti), and the symbolic use of sesame and jaggery.
  • The "Unity in Diversity" Spirit: A look at how celebrating each other's festivals strengthens the campus community and fosters a global perspective.
