SPEAKER_06

Sir, kindly accept your present as a token of respect. It's my proud privilege to invite Dr. B. Ira Nbur IAS to deliver the keynote address on time management, the key to success.

SPEAKER_03

The topic that I'm going to deal with today is time management and how to make the best use of time. I also never knew about the importance of time till 40 years of my age. Only when I was 40 years, I understood that each and every minute is important and I have wasted 40 years of my life. Then I was meticulous to spend every day with a schedule and a target. And in the process, I was able to achieve more in 20 years of my life what I did not achieve in 40 years of my life. Therefore, I am just going to share the wisdom that I have gained due to my time management practices. I am sure that if you follow these principles right from today, you will have a colossal progress and you will have a tremendous impact on the society. Time is something that could never be got back. Even if you lose wealth, you can again earn it. Sometimes you may have some problem with your health, then you can repair your health also. Come here. What's your name? Kanalkana. Kanal Kana. Kanalkana. Okay. Tell me. So you have fire in you. Yes, tell me. Platinum. Platinum is there. Who else differs from him? Which is the most precious thing? What is the cost of platinum? What is the cost of gold? What is the cost of diamond? Come. What's your name? Come. Which is the most you can stand, don't worry. Don't escape from me. Which is the costliest thing out of these three?

SPEAKER_04

Diamond.

SPEAKER_03

Diamond. So it's a perishable commodity. Once last cannot be regained. It is related to agility and consciousness. So do you realize it? Do you plan it? Do you schedule it? Do you spend it wisely? That is the question. The question is whether you are able to realize the fact that time cannot be manufactured and even a second will not be available to you extra. Do you schedule it? Do you manage it effectively? That is the question. Okay. Many a time we know the importance of time, but we don't apply it in day-to-day life. Okay. So the most important thing is to understand the significance of time management.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_03

So many a people waste time. That's why they say I don't have time. Only a few spend time. First of all, understand whether you spend time effectively or you waste your time. The old age, they repeat because in old age they understand the value of time. Then they repeat that I should have used my time effectively. Then in the final state of life, they really long. Could I get a few four months? Similarly, last time is never found again. Benjamin Franklin. Anyone knows this place? Anybody? Anybody knows about Benjamin Franklin? Anyone knows? He signed the proclamation of American independence. The great scholar, he never went to school. He never went to school. He discovered the lightning arrest. And he only invented the bifocal spectacles. So these were all done by Bajavin Frank and he drafted the Constitution of the United States of America. So he said, last time is never found again. The bad news is time flies. The good news is that you are the pilot. You control. It flies, but you can regulate it, you can maneuver it, you can manage it. So why time management? Why should we learn about time management? Okay, money barad is money barad. If you ask yourself and then list out the points, and you also should list out how you waste time and why you failed to meet the deadlines. Deadlines will be given everywhere, everywhere you have deadlines. Your vice chancellor was kind enough to say that the chief secretary has got a lot of responsibilities in the state. So make your life successful. Only a person who uses his time effectively will be successful. All great people, whether Mazak Padani or Abraham Lincoln or Shakespeare, Isaac Assibo, there are so many people, I can quote your untamed number of examples, who used their time effectively and made an impact. Because the difference between a good student and an ordinary student lies in the fact how he uses the weekends. So how you use your weekend? Saturday, Sunday, all the deva. So how do you use your weekend? Because that becomes a crucial issue in deciding the difference between a studious student and a mundane student. Jali. Jal you jali. Anyway, I appreciate you for confessing the truth because sometimes it requires a lot of courage to accept that. Accept the truth. Thank you. Now, so this is the most important aspect. All of you do this exercise in your home. How do you spend your time? What is your daily schedule? So life is not short. If you make a meaningful use of life, it is long. Okay? Then compared to all others, for example, Christopher Marlowe, he lived only 29 years of his age. And he wrote Dr. Fastus, King Edward, Jew of Malta, Taveron, the Great, all great plays were written by Christopher Marlowe. And Christopher Marlowe was the inspiration for Shakespeare. They always used to say that if Shakespeare lived for 29 years and Christopher Marlowe lived until 52, the history of English literature would have got changed. There are so many people. I'm just giving a few names as an illustration so that you can also make an impact in your life. Professor Bada is a good thing. But other distraction is it not a waste of time?

SPEAKER_08

In my opinion, what problem we might face is that we might get confused or we might get misdirect of what should we actually focus, and you know, we can't really find sometimes the important thing that we have to do to achieve the goal.

SPEAKER_07

The start is what I face in managing my time.

SPEAKER_03

Previous day itself, you plan for the next day. And prepare your to-do list, to-do list. What are all the things that you have to do? Even today, in the morning, I did your do list. What are all the things that I have to do? So you have to prepare a do list, and you may have like a time also for each and every activity. If you do that, then definitely you will not have any problem of time management. So time management depends on regularity and discipline. So in our college days, our students used to remain awake till 2 o'clock. 2 a.m. Till 2 a.m. they used to remain awake. And everybody used to remain awake except a few people. So later, of course, they all modified the timing. Why do we sleep? But sleep is important. You cannot remain awake for a long time because if you remain awake for a long time, your brain will suffer. And again, you will start forgetting it also. Your memory is strengthened by sleep.

SPEAKER_06

Thank you, sir. It was an absolutely powerful and motivating session of this day, and your inspiring address has reminded us that every minute is an opportunity, and that disciplined effort is a foundation of lasting success. We are truly grateful for your guidance and for the energy you have brought to this call today.

SPEAKER_03

See, you should know why you want to enter into the civil services. First thing is, if you want to work with the people, then only you should enter into the civil service. If you are not interested to work with the people, if you are interested to work with the machines, better not prefer civil services. Second thing is civil services will have a lot of challenges, including the political pressures. And difficulty lies in only taming the ox, taming the bull, not in taming the blab. So if you want to if you want real challenge, then you enter into the civil service. Then finally, if you want to make a difference in your life, you should enter into the civil services. Nobody is pressurizing anybody to enter into civil services. And definitely, civil services has a lot of challenges, and initially it will be very tough, but later, if you have absolute honesty and integrity, people will not pressurize you to do bad things, illegal things, and dishonest things. That much I can assure you because I had 35 years of service, civil services, and I was never asked to do something wrong in my service. Because in the initial five years, I was able to create a reputation that I would not purchase. That is why I was never asked to do anything illegal.

SPEAKER_05

I am in the second year college, so I want to manage my college with the UPSC.

SPEAKER_03

Every day spent two hours. Okay, sir. To read newspapers, current apps, yojana and kurshedra. Initially. Do it for two hours. Two hours that will be alright. But in the vacation, spend more time to go for the NCRT books. Okay. The most important thing that you have to do is to change the mindset of the youth. Okay. Now the youth are not interested in challenges. They want a shortcut for everything. So if you change the mindset of the students, and if you make them to choose the difficult one instead of the easy one, the whole society will change. All the societies which have progressed, it may be Japan, it may be Singapore, it may be Cuba, it may be Malaysia, it may be Finland, all those countries progress because they spend the human capital in the proper way. That will be a great challenge, and that cannot be done by artificial intelligence. As Noam Chomsky says, the human brain is much more powerful than the artificial intelligence, human intelligence.

SPEAKER_06

Okay. How can students stay motivated when they face repeated failures?

SPEAKER_03

Failure is not something which has to be despised. We face repeated failures because we fail to learn from the failures. So all great people faced failures in their life. Initially, Shakespeare was dismissed by the university wits. They never recognized him, but Shakespeare became the celebrated author in English literature. So failures are not something to be despised. Failures give us a lesson, learn from the failure, why we failed, where we failed, and correct two steps, then failures will become success, and they will become the stepping stones to success. So, what you have to have is willpower, you should have hard work, hard work, and smart work, and you should do your work consciously and finally, instead of fixed mindset, have growth mindset.

SPEAKER_01

Then you will definitely succeed in your life. In this time management lecture series or lecture, I don't know how far you have learned, but I have learnt a lot. Thank you so much, sir, for your guidance. As server selling, it is not the hard work, it is the hard work. The moment you start doing the hard work and also planning the things, you can create more time and do the things, especially for the youth now. You have to keep these principles in mind so that you can create more time, you can enrich yourself, and you can enrich this country. Thank you, Rimaster, for your lecture. We are really pleased and we are really honored to your presence here. I take this opportunity to thank our own advisor, Dr. Raja Ramsar, who is instrumental in developing this Hindustan Provisional Career Academy, which guides the students and practices the students and trains the students for various civil studies examinations. You can utilize this opportunity to join that and thereby enrich yourself. Therefore, all of you, I would like to express my sincere thanks to our RAM Bhusar. Sir, thank you so much for your presence, your dedication, discipline, simplicity, and above all, above all, the sincerity in doing your work and performing your duties and bringing your hats up to you, sir. Thank you so much for your presence. And I started admiring you and became your time from that 1999 hours. Thank you so much for your guidance, sir. Thank you so much, my dear students, for asking various questions. Thank you very much. Thank you, Vananda.

SPEAKER_06

Thank you, sir. As we conclude, let us remember don't watch the clock, do what it does. Keep going.
